Full Lunar Eclipse Tonight











 In addition, it is the Winter Solstice. Tomorrow is the shortest day of the year, the days start getting longer now!

    • Lunar eclipses are somewhat common. There have been 3 full lunar eclipses in the last ten years. But this one is pretty rare – the last time there was a full lunar eclipse on winter solstice was 1637. (I didn’t see that one!) Also, it is a full moon tonight.
