That “Spaghetti Tree” broadcast by the BBC reminds me of the great hoax that made Orson Welles famous (or, infamous!) – the “War of the Worlds” broadcast on October 30, 1938.
In 1975, A Made For TV Movie – “The Night That Panicked America” dramatized the events surrounding the original “War of the Worlds” broadcast.
